You’re here because… you know you have big problems and want to know all your options
At Today's Dentistry we understand that, for many people, going to the dentist isn't a regular six-monthly event. What that means, of course, is that small problems over time often escalate into bigger problems, which are always more complex and costly to treat.
“It’s been years since I’ve seen a dentist. I know my teeth aren’t in good shape and need quite a bit of work.”
“My wisdom tooth has been causing severe pain for days now, but I’m worried about what’s involved, what options I have and their costs.”
“I’m in need of some major dental work and have pain from several teeth. I’ve put this off due to the cost of dental work. Do you offer dental payment plans?”
About half the population goes to the dentist regularly, every six months, but the other half may not go for five to 10 years. Often, in these cases, it’s a double whammy because not only do these people face clinical problems but also the expense of remedying their situation – which can become quite significant.
For some people, the cost of dental treatment, or the imagined cost, may be what deters them from visiting the dentist in the first place.
There are always going to be multiple options for treating any situation and the cost of that can vary enormously, so at Today’s Dentistry, here’s how we like to deal with it.
Our job is not to persuade you, sell you, convince you or tell you to pay for your treatment with a dental payment plan.
Our job is to explain your treatment options and answer your questions. As long as we’ve done that and you understand the consequences of each of the options, we’ll support whatever choice you make. It’s not our position to tell you what’s right or wrong. But it is our role to give you accurate information and unbiased advice.
If you do need more extensive dental treatment, we simply offer you the option of fitting it into your budget with a dental payment plan. You can choose from two finance providers:
Apart from a set-up fee from the finance provider, there’s no extra cost to you from us. We don’t charge you any extra to use a dental payment plan.
We even waive the interest charged to us by the finance provider because a dental payment plan allows us to get your treatment done more efficiently. We can do multiple procedures in one visit rather than treat one tooth at a time. Most people who need extensive dental treatment just want to get it done and get on with their life.
