In January 2014 the Australian Department of Health announced the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) which provides financial support for basic dental services for children between the ages 2-17 years of age.

We are an approved dentist under the Child Dental Benefits schedule

Today’s Dentistry are providing bulk billed dental appointments for eligible patients under this schedule. Benefits will cover a range of services including:

• Examinations
• X-Rays
• Cleaning
• Fissure Sealing
• Fillings
• Root canals
• Extractions

Other services may not be eligible so we recommend that you call us to discuss and book a consultation and examination in the first instance.

Important information for patients under this schedule

If you intend to be bulk billed under this schedule then you will need to notify us when you call to make your appointment. Using your supplied medicare card we will need to check your eligibility before your appointment. Please also note that the benefit entitlement is capped at $1,000 per child over a 2 year calendar period and your child’s eligibility for the schedule is determined afresh each calendar year.
